Our annual summer fundraiser, ZUthon: Zelda for Eternity, returns for a fifth year in 2021 to once again raise money for Direct Relief’s COVID-19 pandemic response. This year’s event is scheduled to take place August 12-16, and we will be streaming a plethora of Zelda titles and challenges via our Twitch channel. Specific times, guests, and a full list of games will be unveiled closer to the event.
ZUthon 2020
Last year’s ZUthon was broadcast for the first time from multiple locations due to the pandemic, but that didn’t stop us from putting on a good show and raising a total of $6,069.69 for Direct Relief. Events included The Wind Waker and Ocarina of Time randomizers (including an Ocarina MultiWorld), a two-part Breath of the Wild playthrough, and a Link to the Past randomizer race, among others. Milestone goals like The Wind Waker randomizer – Unreal Difficulty and A Link to the Past randomizer Dungeon Entrance Shuffle were met with enthusiasm as we exceeded our initial $5,000 goal.
