This past week at E3 2016, several members of the Zelda Universe team had the opportunity to meet up with our friend, Nintendo-focused YouTuber AbdallahSmash026. Everyone we sent to Los Angeles this year had the opportunity to play Breath of the Wild multiple times, with most of us averaging about one hour of gameplay each. But Nintendo invited Abdallah to spend an extra hour with the game, and he took full advantage of it. He was able to explore the Great Plateau more thoroughly than anyone on our team, and even defeated the overworld boss Steppe Talus, a feat accomplished by only a handful of attendees.

Abdallah has just released a the first in a series of videos detailing his experience at E3 2016. The first video includes highlights from various booths and events that took place during the week, but the majority of the video is dedicated to his time spent playing Breath of the Wild.

In addition to his gameplay footage, Abdallah offers a brief tour of Nintendo’s immersive Zelda experience. In particular, he has very good footage of the entrance to their Breath of the Wild-themed booth, which includes an exclusive video (though primarily made up of footage seen elsewhere) and ends with a very neat entrance effect leading into the rest of the booth.

Abdallah has promised additional videos featuring his unedited experience with Breath of the Wild, and he has ongoing Let’s Plays of other Legend of Zelda games including Twilight Princess HD and Hyrule Warriors Legends. You can subscribe to his channel to stay up to date with all the Nintendo video content he publishes on a regular basis.
