All props and statues in Nintendo’s Zelda booth at E3 were “to scale”

As if getting the chance to play Breath of the Wild wasn’t bad enough, I’m also very jealous of the fact that E3 attendees got to visit the amazing Zelda booth Nintendo presented at E3.

In an interview with Venturebeat, Nintendo’s senior director of corporate comunications, Charlie Scibetta, offered a little insight into the creation of this beautiful spectacle. “We just wanted to create an immersive experience in the booth and dedicate everything to the one game by replicating the experience happening in the game. It’s an open-air adventure. You can feel one with nature.”

He goes on to describe what it feels like to stand in the booth. “You can hear the sound of wind in the booth. We have fans. We have real grass. Everything is to scale. We wanted to go big with Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.”

You can check out the beautiful photos that the Zelda Universe team at E3 snapped at the booth, and you can also catch the experience in motion below in Nintendo’s official video tour.
