If you play video games with a console and/or a computer, you’ve likely heard of Razer, the popular video game accessory and gaming computer company. Razer is also a sponsor of the fighting game community (FGC) tournaments that have grown in popularity with each new generation of consoles and gaming hardware.
That new generation now includes the Xbox One, the Playstation 4 and the Wii U, but Razer’s support for the latter two has yet to take hold. While products for the Xbox One can be found on Razer’s store, fans are questioning when or if the company will offer accessories and controllers for both the PS4 and Wii U.
Using his Twitter account, Razer CEO Min-Liang Tan reiterated Razer’s support of the FGC “in the long term.” In response, Angel Jordan pointed out that the “vast majority” of FGC tournaments utilize the PS4 and Wii U, and wondered when Razer planned to support them.
@ZeroYiggs @minliangtan Next year the vast majority of the FGC will be on PS4 and Wii U (for Sm4sh). Where's the support for those?

Min-Liang Tan’s response was that the company is “definitely considering those” alongside doubling their sponsorship of FGC tournaments.

What could this mean for Wii U owners? It’s hard to say, exactly. Razer has made everything from skins to headphones, controllers, gaming laptops and accessories that both enhance and outfit consoles and controllers. Any product created for the PS4 or Wii U could fall into any of those categories, or a different one. We can only wait and see what the company may develop.
