When Wind Waker HD released in North America, it featured a bright gold cover, similar to the one given to Ocarina of Time 3D. The gold filter was nice, but compared to the vibrant cover other territories had, it didn’t have the same impact as when the far more popular Ocarina of Time 3D was released.
Fortunately, the colorful cover appears to now be available in North America, at least at one Best Buy store, as Twitter user MELLO recently tweeted.

Are you a fan of the gold filter, or the colorful cover? Personally, I was disappointed when North America got the gold cover, but a color scheme change doesn’t warrant a second purchase for me.
