Alongside the Tri Force Heroes art and screenshots released, some Hyrule Warriors Legends art and screenshots have also been made available. In the images below, you can see official art for the new characters that are set to appearas well as screenshots that show the graphical differences from the original Hyrule Warriors. It’s not yet clear how maps and gameplay will differ between versions, but some graphical and content sacrifices may come about; similar to how the versions of Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and 3DS differed from each other.

Current owners of Hyrule Warriors may be hesitant to pick up the 3DS version despite the two bonus characters it nets them. However, Hyrule Warriors Legends is a perfect game for fans who, for whatever reason, don’t own the Wii U version, but want to experience the frenetic action of Samurai Warriors with a Legend of Zelda coat of paint.

Hyrule Warriors Legends is currently slated for release in the first quarter of 2016.
