The fact that Nintendo has now made the effort to announce the exact time that pre-orders are set to go live for new Amiibo, seems to indicate that even they must recognise how ridiculous distribution of these figures has become. That’s right: according to the Amiibo UK Facebook page, pre-orders for the Ganondorf, Dark Pit, Palutena and Zero Suit Samus Amiibo toys will open on Thursday, April 16 at 3pm on the Nintendo Official UK Store website.

Greninja and Jigglypuff pre-orders opened today and, unsurprisingly, are already sold out. If you want your hands on that Ganondorf, it looks like you’re going to need to cancel any afternoon plans tomorrow and prepare to move that clicking finger fast if you want to be in with a chance. All Amiibo figures are restricted to one per customer.
