Super Smash Bros. for Wii U European release date brought back to November

Great news, Europe! You can suffer a little less in the wait for the almighty Super Smash Bros. for Wii U, as the release date has now been brought back a week sooner. The game will now launch in Europe on November 28, as opposed to the initial December 5 date.

While it’s still later than the US’ November 21 release, this will certainly take some of the sting out of the delay. The official Nintendo of Europe Twitter page also reminds us of the GameCube controller support and upcoming bundles, which are all also coming out on the big day.

If you’re holding out for the Mario Amiibo bundle, though, you’ll still have to wait until the original date.

I’m so pleased to hear this. Now, hopefully that seven-day window will be a small enough amount of time to contain my jealousy towards North America.
