This week’s Music Monday selection was actually recommended to me by a friend of mine. On our ride to lunch, he asked if I liked EDM style music. I responded with a major “Heck yes!” — I’ve always been a fan of electronic music as it makes me think of video games! Being a Zelda fan himself, he played S3RL’s “The Legend of Link.” What I like about this mix is it incorporates lyrics as a storytelling medium, and since most Zelda songs are instrumental, it’s nice to have some vocal pieces for a change. It also mixes in Navi’s “Hey! Listen!” and Link’s grunts, making for a fun, lighthearted dance tune.
