San Jose State University hosts Nintendo-themed charity auction

Arranged by San Jose State University’s ShrunkenHeadMan Animation/Illustration Club is Press Start: Nintendo Charity Gallery. Student and alumni artists have created artwork for the gallery auction featuring characters from their favorite Nintendo series, including The Legend of ZeldaMarioPokemon, and Pikmin. Proceeds from the auction benefit the Morgan Autism Center, an organization dedicated to helping both children and adults with autism and other developmental disabilities.

The gallery and bidding open April 25 and run through May 16. Those in the area can check out the gallery in person at Umpqua Bank in San Jose, Calif.
