An extract from a recent Nintendo financial results document (shown after the jump) revealed that Tecmo Koei Games will publish Hyrule Warriors in Japan. The Musou game series has long been popular in Japan, and is developed by Tecmo Koei. Since the game will be titled “Zelda Musou” in Japan, it makes sense that Tecmo Koei would also be the publisher to spur Japanese sales and brand recognition. In the United States and Europe, the Zelda franchise is popular enough that Hyrule Warriors being published by Nintendo is sufficient.
