Experience sounds from every Zelda game in this masterful remix video

Accompanying the Zelda series’ music, the sound design is one of the franchise’s strongest attributes, making for a consistently pleasant aural experience in every game. Many of the sound effects, from the lovable menu beeps to the distinct enemy cries, also hold a strong nostalgic value–something that YouTube user Joshua Kershaw (or “Jeesh”) takes full advantage of in his excellent remix music video.

He uses sounds from practically every Zelda game (even CD-i!), along with his own backing track which features remixes of memorable Zelda songs and original 8-bit synth music. Read on to watch–and more importantly, listen–to this very clever and  addictive remix!
