Following our round-up of gameplay footage, I now bring you a compilation of recently released screenshots and trailers for The Wind Waker HD. Again I’ll issue a warning newcomers hoping to avoid spoilers in the screenshots, but despite them depicting later sequences in the game, they don’t really give anything away. Also, some of the screenshots are oddly small, but I’ve included them anyway for the sake of news reporting. With that addressed, hit the jump and enjoy!
Limited Editions trailer
This trailer shows just what you’ll get in both the Wii U bundle and the Ganondorf statue bundle, interspersed with some new in-game footage.

Story trailer
Self-explanatory, really. This story trailer explains the game’s story, showcasing some of the early events of the game as well as Link’s meeting with Ganondorf.

Japanese trailer
In this one, our fellow staff member Joshua spotted that the GamePad lets you look at treasure charts while you sail to them, so you can hit the sweet spot a lot easier than in the original game. There’s also a demonstration of equipping items with the GamePad, and a video demonstration of the Tingle Bottle in action.

Official Japanese Gamecube vs. Wii U comparison trailer
We’ve seen some fan-made comparison videos of the original Wind Waker and the upcoming HD release, but this one really hits home how much the visuals have improved.
