Another Wii U rumor has surfaced, this time in the form of a new picture revealing changes in the controller. The rumor comes from a QA tester at TT Games.

This rumor contains changes for the control sticks on the Wii U. There is currently an image on the Internet of a Wii U controller, but instead of the circle pad like “nubs,” there are actual analog sticks on the Wii U. In addition, the start and select have been moved and the mic has been flipped to the other side of the controller.  These have not been confirmed, but here’s the picture from which the rumors is based:

Some other things we can point out about the Wii U controller. It has a button between the power button and battery light, which may serve the role of switching between television and Wii U controller for some games. In addition, there is a “button” below the D-pad, which may be a Near Field Communicator. All of this is speculation, but something people may have missed is the front camera strip. The dark black strip looks similar to that off the Wii’s sensor. This may be exactly what it is, meaning that the Wii U could be used to play Wii games without the TV. It would somewhat explain the golf game shown on the Wii U at E3. But this too is just speculation and nothing will probably be confirmed until E3.

So, do you think this is simply a rumor, or do you think it’s legit? Tell us what you think in the comments below.
