Alongside a number of different LEGO sets, The Great Deku Tree 2-in-1 LEGO set is already being retired in July.
The 2,500 piece set, which retails for $299.99 USD, originally released back in 2024. It features pieces to either build the the Breath of the Wild and Ocarina of Time versions of the Great Deku Tree as well as minifigures of Link and Zelda from BOTW and Young Link and Grown-Up Link from Ocarina.

While the set is being retired, this does not mean that it will be sold out everywhere once that time in July comes. Instead, it simply means there won’t be any more new units put into production. If you still haven’t been able to purchase one or are wanting another before it retires, the set can be found on the LEGO website as well as other retailers like Target and Best Buy. At the time of writing this, the set is on backorder at LEGO.com. In addition to this, there’s a note that there is an order limit of 5 units per household when purchasing from the LEGO site.

This retirement is only for the Great Deku Tree but the other existing Zelda LEGO set, the Ocarina of Time Final Battle Set, is still available for purchase in the foreseeable future on the LEGO website and various retailers.
Interesting enough, LEGO had recently teased a new unidentified Donkey Kong set that is coming soon. The teaser gave a rolling DK themed barrel as a clue.
Will you be picking a Zelda Great Deku Tree set up before it says its final goodbyes? Maybe you’d like another so that you can have both versions of the Great Deku Tree on display? Do you think a new Zelda set will take its place?
