Zelda fan reclaims the Guinness World Record for largest collection of Zelda memorabilia

Norwegian elementary school teacher Anne Martha Harnes has reclaimed the Guinness World Record for the largest collection of Legend of Zelda memorabilia. Her last record of 1,816 items was beaten by Constantine Adams’s collection of 3,918 items (which Zelda Universe has also mentioned) back in October of 2025. Her goal was to reclaim the record in honor of Zelda’s 40th anniversary, reaching it with her new record of a whopping 4,000 items!

In an interview with Guinness World Records, she noted a few of her favorite parts about the games. “I just love everything about this game series… the story and the lore, the music, the beautiful art style, and of course: the quests and collections!” Alongside being a collector outside of the games, she is a collector inside of the games. She aims to do 100% playthroughs of every single Zelda game.

Harnes also said that her favorite piece of memorabilia in her collection would have to be her Fishbone Guitar ‘Zoraxe’, which is the fifth out of seven in the world that were commissioned by Nintendo from Jackson Guitars. An image of the guitar is shown in a magazine page above as a contest prize.

A few other rare and unique items that she’s procured over the years are the Twilight Princess Nubytech Prototyope Gamecube Controller, Toysite Deku Link Prototype Bean Bag Plush, Link’s Awakening Whistle-Stop Train Tour Pillowcase and the Toybiz Prototype Action Figures. Based on all of this, she estimated that her collection would probably be worth 1 million Norwegian Krone or $100,000 USD!

While this is only a small number of her vast collection, it’s amazing to see the difficulty behind finding some of these items and dedication that a fan can have for something they love so much. We’re excited to see how her collection grows from here! The full interview with Harnes can be found here, as well as the official Guinness page linking to Harnes’s record.
