New Age of Imprisonment screenshots of Ganondorf appear on Nintendo’s website

Shortly after the trailer for Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment ended during the latest Nintendo Direct, excited Zelda fans detected with their ‘Lens of Truth senses’ that new official art of Ganondorf and screenshots of the game were quietly posted on Nintendo Japan’s website, several of them featuring none other than the nefarious Twinrova and Ganondorf from Tears of the Kingdom. This is the first official confirmation that the former will indeed be featured in some capacity in the upcoming game.

These screenshots primarily feature Ganondorf and Twinrova bowing before him in his pomp and splendor, because of course he would since he’s the rightful Gerudo king and the only voe alive anyway. Ganondorf’s throne is curiously set in the middle of the Gerudo Desert and it doesn’t look very comfortable. But a closer look reveals that this throne looks slightly different from the throne he sits on in the official art, as one has two armrests while the other only has one. Could it be that perhaps Ganondorf has multiple thrones set at various important locations, or that the throne in the desert is somehow for travel?

Chances are, you likely already saw these screenshots if you’re active on social media but just in case you haven’t seen them yet or want to admire them again for the thousandth time, we have them here for your convenience.
