Is it that time of year already? It sure is, it’s Zeldathon time! Zelda Universe has partnered with the popular charity speedrunning group Zeldathon to have a blast speedrunning Legend of Zelda games and help raise money for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. The event is happening live right now and runs through August 20. On its first day August 13, Zeltathon blasted toward their goal with a great start of over $10,000 USD in donations, and they’re still going strong. As of August 15, they have now raised over $24,000 USD. There are interactive games, and a chance to win prizes when you donate, too! Come say hello to some of our Zelda Universe staff helping out over there, all the while helping one hospitalized child at a time.
