The Great Deku Tree, the first LEGO Legend of Zelda Set, ships September 1

Well, what a random Tuesday morning surprise! Nintendo and LEGO have announced the first Legend of Zelda LEGO set, and it’s none other than the iconic Great Deku Tree! Which one, you might ask? Both! Shut up and take our rupees!

This 2-in-1 set allows you to pick your favorite design. Will you construct Ocarina of Time‘s classic tree, complete with Deku Babas and a mini-build of Link’s house? Or will you opt instead for the more modern Breath of the Wild design with the Master Sword pedestal? Either way, you’ll get the appropriate minifigs to go along with it. This set comes with four fantastic-looking minfigures of Young and Adult Links from Ocarina of Time and Link and Zelda from Breath of the Wild.

The set releases on September 1, though you can pre-order it now on LEGO’s website. It’s a bit steep of an asking price at $300 USD — especially considering there’s a very strong urge to buy two so you can have one of each Deku Tree. But, “them’s the bricks,” I suppose.
