Is this for real, or is it all a dream? If it is, please don’t ever wake us up (or the Wind Fish.) The popular Dungeons and Dragons improv show Critical Role will host a special one-shot campaign inspired by The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom on Tuesday, May 30 at 7pm Pacific Time. The live broadcasted campaign is sponsored by Nintendo, and Matthew Mercer, the voice actor for Ganondorf in Tears of the Kingdom, will lead the charge as Dungeon Master. Notable voice actors Liam O’Brian, Marisha Ray, Robbie Daymond, Omar Najam, and Emily Axford will also participate in the epic Hyrulean journey.
There is no question that Zelda fans will enjoy this production regardless of knowledge or skill level in Dungeons and Dragons. If you’re concerned about running into spoilers for Tears of the Kingdom, you can rest easy. Critical Role confirmed that the one-shot production will be spoiler free.
