The marketing momentum heats up for Tears of the Kingdom as we get closer to the worldwide launch date.
A new commercial was just uploaded to Nintendo’s Youtube, and features a few new peeks at what’s to come on May 12. It mostly centers on Link’s abilities, weapon fusions, and Ultrahand creations. However, there is also a confirmation of the name of our three-headed friend seen in the previous two trailers, the Flame Gleeok.
Nintendo also released three new Japanese television commercials for the game last week, and now they’re being broadcasted in English, too. Both the English and Japanese versions are identical. The English spots can be seen on the Nintendo YouTube Channel Southeast Asia.
For the most part, the commercials pull the same footage from the final trailer but there are a few new differences shown, one of them being a dramatic geographical change that has happened to the Seven Heroines Statues in the Gerudo Desert. You ca watch all three of them to compare below:
Meanwhile, more preorder gifts are being offered through various retailers around the world. One of them is this nice green key case with a golden Hylian crest on it, available for Hong Kong and Taiwan customers. You can find the complete updated list of all the Tears of the Kingdom preorder merchandise we found so far in our article here.
