There seems to be no end to the flow of add-on merchandise bundles for Tears of the Kingdom preorders. That’s a good thing, since preorders seem to be selling faster than you can say Zonai. To date, Tears of the Kingdom is making record headlines in selling more preorders than those of its predecessor Breath of the Wild, so the growing variety of bundle merchandise makes sense to help meet the demand and ensure that more customers get a chance to bring something home to the table. These new preorder bundles are coming from retailers in multiple countries across the world, including Japan, Canada, and the United States. Here’s what we know so far. UPDATED 04/24/23.
United States
- Walmart stores in North America are offering an exclusive Black Wall Scroll featuring the chewed-up Master Sword and the Tears of the Kingdom logo with the game. The Gold Wall Scroll is already sold out, so you’ll definitely want to snag the other color while supplies last.
- You can get an official free art print at Best Buy when you preorder a physical copy of Tears of the Kingdom online. The size and specs of the art print are not specified, but the quality appears to be decent and it features the game’s cover artwork. Like the game, the print can be shipped to your home or picked up in store.
- GameStop is offering a free wooden plaque with a Tears of the Kingdom inspired engraving on it when you preorder the game with them. However, the plaque can only be picked up in stores and quantities are limited so be prepared with a backup plan.
- An amiibo of Link from Tears of the Kingdom featuring his powered-up hand is available for preorder through several retailers such as GameStop, Target, Amazon, Best Buy, and Walmart. It is relatively easy to find. The amiibo provides some minor perks to the gameplay such as decorating the Paraglider with a different design.
- Gamestop, Target, Amazon, Best Buy, and other retail outlets are selling preorders of the Tears of the Kingdom Collector’s Edition bundle pack, however it is a hot commodity that sells out quickly in batches so shoppers must be diligent to snag this prize. The bundle includes a physical copy of the game, an art book, a steel book, a poster, and a set of pins.
United Kingdom, Ireland, Italy and Germany
- The My Nintendo Stores in the UK & Ireland, Italy, and Germany are offering a collectible coin and a luggage tag as thank-you gifts if customers preorder a copy of Tears of the Kingdom through these countries. More information about pricing and pick-up can be viewed through their websites online.
Australia
- If you preorder the game in EB Games Australia, you will receive a free Tears of the Kingdom luggage tag as a gift. The tag has the game’s logo impressed on it and has a buckle. It appears to be either leather or quality manmade leather-like material, so when you’re not exploring Hyrule you can travel the real world in style.

Canada
- GameStop Canada is advertising a free Tears of the Kingdom Pin Set when customers preorder and purchase the game through their website. It’s not clear if placing the online order as “Pick up at Store” is required to receive the Pin Set, and preordering the game doesn’t guarantee if you’ll receive the Pin Set if it sells out, so it’s probably best to call your local store for clarifications.
- Like Australia Walmart Canada is offering a free luggage tag with physical preorders for Tears of the Kingdom.
Hong Kong & Taiwan
- Meanwhile, the NSEW store in Hong Kong and the My Nintendo Store in Taiwan are offering a green Tears of the Kingdom inspired keychain pouch as a preorder gift for the game. The key pouch measures 100 x 45 x 10 millimeters and features the Hylian crest encircled by calligraphy from the featured Tears of the Kingdom language.
Israel
- Israeli customers can choose between a free Tears of the Kingdom T-Shirt or a Tears of the Kingdom Collectible Coin when they preorder the game through My Nintendo Store Israel. Both gifts sport the game’s logo on them. We don’t know for certain but it appears these gifts are received in-store only. Like other Nintendo Stores, the store is hosting a “festive midnight launch” for Tears of the Kingdom on May 11, 2023 at 11:59pm local time.
Japan
- Japan retailer Furuichi Online is offering a complementary Card Deck Box if you preorder Tears of the Kingdom. It apparently comes with two dividers with official game designs and art. It’s a great option for customers who are also card game fans, though online orders are limited to only Japan residents. If you’re lucky enough to live there, it costs 7018 yen, about 60 USD, plus shipping charges. It is not known if the Card Deck Box bonus is sold out at this time.
- Amazon Japan is offering tons of free goodie combination choices when you preorder Tears of the Kingdom through their online store. The combinations include a spoon, a fork, the Tears of the Kingdom Pro Switch Controller, the Tears of the Kingdom Switch Case, Breath of the Wild and other Zelda amiibo, a copy of the Breath of the Wild game, and more. See the link for more information.
- 04/15/23 UPDATE: The Nintendo Store in Tokyo, Japan is previewing a lot of new Tears of the Kingdom merchandise coming soon. The description they provide isn’t much, but judging by the image there will at least be two kinds of t-shirts, a neck tie, a water bottle, and much more. A rough English translation of their Twitter post says, “the goods of this work will be released on Friday, May 12, the same as the software. Please wait a little longer until the endless adventure that spreads in the sky.”
Korea
- If you’re a Korean Zelda fan, you’re in luck because Nintendo is offering a ton of preorder bonuses through various Korean retailers. First up is a 240 piece jigsaw puzzle with the cover artwork from Game Woori that is also frameable when finished if you choose to do so. The puzzle is sized at 340 x 200 millimeters.
- TMON is offering a choice between a Golden Stamped Passport or a black cloth Tears of the Kingdom themed tote with the logo and Link in his cool ancient-looking outfit when you preorder the game through them.
- Kakao Desk and Toys R Us Korea (yes U.S. customers, they still exist in Korea) have a free desk mat, coaster, and plush blanket with the broken Master Sword available through their online stores as preorder bonuses. The desk mat and coaster match with the same golden Hylian crest design on a green background. The blanket looks especially comfy and is a perfect compliment to playing Tears of the Kingdom on a lazy afternoon.
- Customers who shop Korean retailer SSG have a choice between a free green Hylian crest towel or a free keychain set of the Hylian crest and the broken Master Sword with their preorder for Tears of the Kingdom.
Switzerland
- The Swiss retailer World of Games is offering a free green Tears of the Kingdom notepad with the logo and Master Sword when you preorder a copy of the game through them.
