In today’s ten-minute showcase of Tears of the Kingdom, we were treated to a little surprise at the end: a new model of OLED Switch, a themed Pro Controller, and a new carrying case.

The Switch itself appears to be the same design reported in leaks earlier this year. It features golden Joy-cons with Zonai green etching on the left and white on the right. The back of the unit has the overlapping circle design we see in the back of promotional art. The dock itself is white with a gold and white overlay featuring the game’s Zonai twin dragon icon with the Hyrule crest in the center. Overall, it’s a lovely looking design fit for anyone looking to upgrade their Switch to the OLED model before the game comes out.

The Pro Controller has a black grip on the left and white grip on the right and includes the overlapping circles design overtaking the crest of Hyrule. The same motif is used for one side of the carrying case. The other side shows the Zonai twin dragon icon surrounding an art piece showing the new glyph for Link’s Ultrahand ability.
The Switch releases on April 28 while the controller and case arrive on the game’s launch, May 12. Preorders for the Switch go live at GameStop at 1 PM PT. The controller and case are expected to be online only. Nintendo has also added a link to purchase the Switch from them directly here. It’s expected to go live later today as well.
