Great Deku Tree LEGO set rumored for 2024

Rumors are circulating about a possible The Legend of Zelda LEGO set slated for 2024. According to the website Promobricks, the LEGO Group recently conducted a marketing survey to learn what consumers thought of the price points of certain proposed sets. One of the sets shown in the survey was a Great Deku Tree design. According to the leak, this set would feature a minifigure-scale Great Deku Tree. Additionally, the set would include the necessary parts and instructions to modify the tree, allowing builders to construct one of two versions seen in the Zelda series. These versions are the ones from Ocarina of Time and Breath of the Wild.

Additional Set details:

  • Minifigures: Young Link from Ocarina of Time and Link and Zelda from Breath of the Wild.
  • Size: 1920 pieces.
  • Expected price: Anywhere from $200 to $350 USD.

Though the set is proposed for 2024, there is no guarantee that the LEGO Group will actually release it. LEGO sets go through a rigorous development process, and some sets, even ones that are far along in the development process, can be canceled for any number of reasons. In regard to this set and the survey, if LEGO believes consumers wouldn’t value the set at the price the company would be comfortable listing it as, they might opt to halt its production indefinitely. We will continue to report on the set as any and all news develops.
