While there’s nothing on the horizon on that front, the fans as always have been working on their own concepts. YouTube user Chill Village has created a really interesting video using AI art to show how Ocarina of Time could look as an ’80s dark sci-fi fantasy adventure.
While it doesn’t seem likely that we’d ever see a project like this, it is really cool to see Link and Zelda in the style of Willow or the Dark Crystal.
The artwork for this was generated using Midjourney, a piece of AI software that among other things is being used to generate artwork based on other images.
