The Tokyo Game Show showed off two new Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity DLC-related videos. The first was a short story video and the second was a gameplay showcase for newcomers Purah and Robbie.
This is fans’ first look at how the characters will play and it is pretty interesting. The two will not be individual characters but will work together as a team to take down Calamity Ganon’s forces.
Most of their attacks will be done using ancient weapons, which makes a lot of sense for what is known about these two. Robbie is doing most of the heavy lifting (or heavy fighting) while Purah is more or less calling the shots and offering support. It looks to be a fun addition to the Koei Tecmo hack-and-slash.
Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity’s DLC, Guardians of Remembrance, will release on October 29, 2021.
