Twitter user @PushDustin tweeted a rough translation of in-game dialogue made by Impa in new gameplay footage from Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity. In the translated line, Impa mentions Purah, who was the Hateno Tech Lab Director during the events of Breath of the Wild.
As Dustin points out in a follow-up tweet, this screenshot likely happens early on in the game, as Hyrule Field looks to be one of the first missions players will complete. While this is the only mention of Purah we have seen so far, it is possible that she could be one of the playable characters yet to be revealed.
If she does make a physical appearance in the game, she will likely look older than she did in Breath of the Wild due to her age experiment not yet taking place. Impa’s appearance has already been revealed to be much younger than how she appears in Breath of the Wild, so this change in design for Purah would only make sense.
