The most recent financial report published by Nintendo features an updated look at the company’s proposed 2021 release schedule for the Nintendo Switch. The current proposal of games to be released this year might not offer any shocks, but check out the list below:
U.S./Europe
- Super Mario 3D World + Bowsers Fury: Feb. 12
- Bravely Default II: Feb. 26
- New Pokemon Snap: April 30
- Bayonetta 3: TBA
- Metriod Prime 4 (temp.): TBA
- Sequel to Breath of the Wild (temp.): TBA
Japan
- Super Mario 3D World + Bowsers Fury: Feb. 12
- New Pokémon Snap: April 30
- Famicom Tentei Club: Kieta Koukeisha and Ushiro ni Tatsu Shoujo: TBA 2021

The above list includes only Nintendo first-party titles and not those to be released by third parties. Delays due to the pandemic will also likely impact the development and release dates; however, we can all remain hopeful that the Breath of the Wild sequel will be released sooner rather than later.
