Take a look at this new official artwork for Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity

We’re all very excited for the recently announced Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity. The game is only a couple of months away, with a November 20 release date. Alongside the official announcement, Nintendo has released a bunch of pre-release artwork, including a look at the game’s box art.

The box art for the game looks gorgeous, featuring Link, Zelda, and the four Champions. Fans have also pointed out that the Guardian featured here has an interesting design, so there might be a mystery to look forward to. My theory is that it might act similarly to the likes of Navi and other helpful characters throughout the series. However, we’ll have to wait to see more information later this month.

Nintendo has also released official artwork for both Link and Zelda. Our silent protagonist can be seen wearing his armor before the Calamity struck, while Zelda boasts her attire from Breath of the Wild.

There are also a bunch of screenshots available to look at from the game. The art style from Breath of the Wild transitions well to the Dynasty Warriors-inspired gameplay. We can see the armies of various enemies from Breath of the Wild, each of the playable characters attacking, and much more!

There’s plenty to be excited about this month, and this surprise announcement adds yet another thing to look forward to. We’ll keep you updated with more information about Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity. The game launches on November 20 and is now available to preorder on the Nintendo eShop retailing at $59.99/£49.99. More information is scheduled to be revealed on September 26, so stay tuned for the latest Zelda news!
