Reggie Fils-Amie doesn’t seem to understand the idea of “retirement.” The legendary former Nintendo of America CEO has joined yet another board of directors, this time at Rogue Games.
Reggie is joining the team as a strategic advisor to help oversee games publishing and launches. Matt Casamassina, the Co-Founder and CEO of Rogue Games, had this to say about Reggie joining the company:
”Rogue has assembled an all-star team of industry leaders whose North Star is publishing fresh, innovative, stylish, and oftentimes outrageous games that stand out in a crowded marketplace. Reggie brings to the table his unrivaled experience in the console arena which is invaluable to us as we expand our portfolio to include incredible games on Nintendo Switch, Microsoft Xbox, Sony PlayStation and PC.”
Reggie’s experience in the industry will surely prove fruitful for the company, with the man himself saying, ”I’m excited to join Rogue in their mission to unite and simply games publishing across all platforms.”
GamesBeat published an interview with Reggie, which discusses his reasoning for joining another board. It seems like many companies are being graced with the arrival of the Regginator, and, with how his streak is going, we’ll probably see some more down the road.
