Breath of the Wild is a punishing game. Since its launch back in 2017, fans have continued to post highlights from their experiences playing. We’ve seen awesome combos, magnificent experiments with the games physics, and of course, unfortunate deaths.
Death comes easy in Nintendo’s iconic survival epic, with enemies being ruthless sometimes. However, the aforementioned physics can ultimately be the greatest threat. With all these dangers lurking around every corner, you simply don’t walk around with less than one heart.
Reddit user brenrob learned this the hard way in the Champion’s Ballad DLC. They took to Reddit to both share the whole experience and vent about how it took them “ages” to catch an optional chest in one of the shrines.
In the video, brenrob manages to finally capture the elusive prize, but it then jumps out of the bowl and smacks Link on the head. This of course leads to one of the most hilarious yet unfortunate deaths possible in the game.
Unfortunately, the worst part is being forced to play with half a heart, because this particular challenge forces you to brave it with limited health. There was no choice in the matter, and the chest decided to give brenrob a bad time.
