A new theory video explores the potential return of the Ancient Shrines in Breath of the Wild sequel

YouTuber HMK has released a new video exploring the possibility of the Ancient Sheikah Shrines returning in the sequel to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.

Sheikah Shrines made their first appearance in Breath of the Wild, where they were originally used as ancient training facilities by the Sheikah. There are 120 of them scattered across the lands of Hyrule, and within them are physics-based puzzles that lead to rewards such as weapons, gear, and Spirit Orbs (used to increase stamina when exchanged at Goddess Shrines).

HMK theorizes in his video below that the Sheikah Shrines could return and be repurposed with a dark twist.
