Commonwealth Realm has uploaded yet another theory about the upcoming sequel to Breath of the Wild. In this particular theory, Konrad Janusz Vaernes delves into speculation surrounding Hyrule Castle.
Breath of the Wild‘s iteration of the iconic castle is the home to none other than Calamity Ganon. At the end of the game, the hero defeats the malicious beast and restores peace to Hyrule. However, in the sequel’s announcement trailer, something ominous is reawakening. Presumably, that is the lingering malice of Ganondorf, who is very much still alive. If that is the case, then the rising Hyrule Castle in the announcement trailer might be Ganon’s new fortress.
The theory delves headfirst into what this could look like in the new game. A few highlights include the possibility of the sequel’s version being packed full of new puzzles and mini-bosses. As speculation suggests that the castle may be airborne, the theory also investigates how it will affect the landscape of the area.
The likelihood of Hyrule Castle being the final dungeon is seemingly very evident. If you’re interested in learning more, it is definitely worth watching the theory.
