When Reggie Fils-Aime left his post as president of Nintendo of America to enter his retirement in February of this year, it marked the end of an era for both his time with the company and for the fans who admired him fondly as a familiar face of Nintendo.
It seems that Reggie feels his body is ready for a new venture, as he previously announced on his Twitter account that he accepted a lecturing position at Cornell University in New York. He is the campus’ first Leader in Residence.
Reggie previously attended Cornell University back in the 1980s, earning himself a Bachelor of Science in Applied Economics that would form part of the journey that led to his memorable 16-year stint at Nintendo. He joined Nintendo as Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing back in 2003.
The Regginator will host his first lecture, which is open to the public, on October 21. No doubt his words will fill the audience with inspiration with his years of experience and knowledge in his own unique, charming way.
