Nintendo Treehouse shows footage of Link’s Awakening’s Genie Nightmare boss

We caught a ton of boss fights in yesterday’s Nintendo Direct trailer of the Link’s Awakening remake, but the following Nintendo Treehouse stream was generous enough to show us one more.

The Treehouse challenged Zelda Producer Eiji Aonuma to complete one of their custom Chamber Dungeons. With over 20 years of experience overseeing the Zelda series, Aonuma of course set a new record with ease, defeating the Genie boss in the process.

Genie is a Nightmare that usually appears in Link’s Awakening’s second dungeon, Bottle Grotto. He’s still just as nuts as he was in his Game Boy form, and you’ll catch all of his original dialogue here too.
