As Urbosa and Zelda depart from Gerudo Town and make their way into Gerudo Desert in yesterday’s Nintendo Treehouse Live presentation of Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity, Urbosa suggests awakening “a beast in the north” with a loud attack to distract the relentless hordes of the Yiga Clan.
After she rains lightning down on her helpless enemies, a cutscene plays. The ground rumbles violently and a colossal figure emerges from the sand, rising high into the sky before plummeting jaws-first towards the Yiga Clan members. It’s the mighty Molduga!
The remaining footsoldiers scatter and the cutscene ends. As it cuts back to gameplay, a boss battle with Molduga presumably takes place here, though the Treehouse staff exited out of the segment before we could see more.
