Nintendo’s E3 2019 Direct has left this reporter breathless with some unexpected news: a sequel to Breath of the Wild is in development.
At the tail-end of a solid Direct that brought us dates for both the Link’s Awakening remaster and Cadence of Hyrule, Nintendo shared some cinematic footage of the unnamed sequel along with the news that the game is in development. No other details were given, leaving us fans with only goosebumps, excitement, and this eerie trailer to dissect over and over until we get more information (once you’ve wiped the tears from your eyes, that is).
