Earlier this week, publisher Double Eleven revealed that Songbringer is finally coming to the Nintendo Switch on May 31, 2018 after its initial launch on other platforms last year.
Songbringer is a sci-fi action RPG that follows protagonist Roq as he embarks across an alien planet with his skybot Jib. On their journey, Roq encounters deadly foes, helpful items, and unique dungeons.
At the beginning of each quest, you must choose a six-letter world seed that is used to procedurally generate the planet, overworld, secrets and dungeons. Similar to A Link Between Worlds, players can choose to tackle any of the nine dungeons in whatever order they please. Each playthrough is a breath of fresh air and encourages replayability.
The Nintendo Switch version of Songbringer will include all updates from both PC and console versions of the game, as well as the free DLC, The Trial of Ren. Songbringer will be launching on the Nintendo eShop on May 31, 2018.
