Thank you video from Aonuma to fans debuted during our PAX Australia panel

Legend of Zelda series producer Eiji Aonuma has recorded a special video message for Zelda fans that was debuted during our PAX Australia panel “Breath of the Wild and the Future of the Zelda Series” today.

In the video, recorded on behalf of the Zelda development team, Aonuma thanks fans for their support and expresses delight that they have been enjoying Breath of the Wild. He also notes that the team has been surprised by the many different ways that people have been playing the game, and the creative ideas and solutions that they have come up with.

Aonuma also reminds players that the four Champion amiibo will be released on November 10, and takes pride in describing how they were created with precision. He confirms that DLC pack two, “The Champions’ Ballad”, will be available by the end of the year. The team knows that fans are eagerly looking forward to it, but Aonuma asks that we all hang on a little longer, and he hopes that we will continue to enjoy Breath of the Wild for a very long time.

It’s a sweet video, and we enjoyed the Aussie twist. In addition to debuting the video at the panel, we gave away a copy of Breath of the Wild that was signed by Aonuma himself. For those who weren’t there, we will have a recording of the panel up on our YouTube channel soon, and we have three more signed copies of Breath of the Wild on Nintendo Switch to give away online. We’ll be announcing the details for this giveaway soon, so stay tuned!
