Earlier this year, Dark Horse Comics confirmed it would be bringing The Legend of Zelda Encyclopedia to North America and Europe on April 24, 2018. It will be the final book of the “Goddess Collection” trilogy and will provide more information on every game within the Zelda franchise. The blue cover takes influence from the previous two books (Hyrule Historia and Arts and Artifacts) but the Deluxe Edition offers something a little different.
Taking inspiration from a NES cart, this gorgeous version has a black polypropylene sleeve, while the book is covered in gold foil paper with “embossed, debossed and textured features”. Not only that, but it also comes with an instruction booklet, to scale, just incase you forget how to read.
This offers a big dilemma for many Zelda fans and collectors, as the standard edition ties in nicely with the previous books from Dark Horse Comics, but this Deluxe Edition is just so pretty…It will cost you more though, $80 to be specific. Which version will you be going for?
