Hyrule Historia is an astounding international success with 400,000 prints

Dark Horse, publishers of Hyrule Historia, are very pleased with the recent performance of their Zelda encyclopaedia outside of Japan. It has become one of the most popular video game books ever, with 400,000 copies currently printed.

The rampant domination is not over yet though, according to Dark Horse:

“We believe the buzz on The Legend of Zelda: Hyrule Historia is just beginning and will be reprinting as many as needed to keep up with demand.”

They also announced that the book reached #1 on the Wall Street Journal and New York Times Bestseller list. All this success may not be all that surprising to you, given that Hyrule Historia was given its very own trailer and instantly launched itself to the top spot on Amazon’s best-selling book list. Still, it’s incredibly heart-warming to see such great reception towards the tome of over 25 years of the franchise’s existence.
