Arts & Artifacts is the next Legend of Zelda book to come out of Dark Horse’s collaboration with Nintendo, following in the footsteps of its best-selling brother Hyrule Historia. The book is set to launch on February 21, 2017, and will feature over four-hundred pages of art and promotional material from every Zelda game to date, including Breath of the Wild. Now, a bit more than a month before its release, Dark Horse has lifted the veil on the Limited Edition version of this lovely volume, and IGN has the first look at it.
Before my fellow cash-strapped Zelda fans worry, know that both versions of Arts & Artifacts have the same content. But in this case it really is a matter of judging a book by its cover, as the Limited Edition is currently priced at three times the standard edition. For those extra Rupees, you’ll get gilded pages and a cover that features a “life-sized” Master Sword. There’s even a clever slipcover that makes it appear you’re unsheathing the legendary blade when you remove it.
Check out the video in IGN’s tweet below, and if you’ve got both the spare cash and the desire you can pre-order the Limited Edition on Amazon for $79.99.
