Many of you were lucky enough to see world-class conductor Eimear Noone flourish her very own Wind Waker at the Symphony of the Goddesses concert. Hailing from Ireland, Noone honors her heritage with the upcoming project, Songs of Zelda: A Link to the Celts.

At the Dublin International Game Music Festival this past April, the DIT Irish Traditional Music Ensemble played an Irish-style Zelda medley. The performance was so fantastic that Noone wants to share the music with the world, so on June 15, she’s launching a Kickstarter campaign to fund the album. Assuming the campaign is successful, Songs of Zelda: A Link to the Celts will be out just in time for The Legend of Zelda’s 30th birthday.

Both Earth God’s Lyric and Wind God’s Aria from The Wind Waker already have an Irish folk dance sound to them, so a Celtic arrangement of the music from Zelda isn’t that much of a stretch. Besides, Link does wear quite a bit of green! For updates on A Link to the Celts, be sure to sign up for the email list. Until then, enjoy the teaser video below.
