It’s no secret that Hyrule Warriors has had an interesting journey, beginning with a sudden reveal last year that left many surprised at the collaboration between Nintendo and Koei Tecmo. Between massive amounts of gameplay shown since E3, various game modes, and a substantial amount of DLC on the way, quite a lot of buzz was built around the title. Last week, UK gamers had the chance to pick up the title, and it turns out it did very well.
The Wii U title entered into the UK charts at number three, only behind Destiny and Disney Infinity 2.0; Hyrule Warriors managed to knock Watch Dogs out of the number three position it had held onto for some time. It’s great to see the latest in the Zelda franchise do well in not only Japan, but also in the UK, pushing both hardware and software sales.
