Yesterday, the official Twitter account for Hyrule Warriors tweeted a cryptic message hinting at a ground-based character addition to the roster of the anticipated title. Roughly, the bulletin states, “The grounder…the new character, [will be] announced this week.”
This has some speculating that the character may be that of the Goron variety, making it the first time the species would be a playable character in the Zelda franchise. The game is set to be released on Wii U consoles in August for Japan, with the rest of the world having to wait until September to get their hands on it.
