We’ve showcased the beautiful and talented Taylor Davis here before. Many of you may remember her videos for Gerudo Valley and the Song of Storms/Time mashup. Straight off of her album Melodies of Hyrule is a new video for Ocarina of Time’s Bolero of Fire.
Taylor doesn’t just play, she performs. Dressed as Sheik, she powerfully stands atop the rocky terrain of Death Mountain, effortlessly playing her violin.
When I first heard Bolero of Fire in the game, I wasn’t all that impressed. For a song with such a strong title — Bolero is a style of Latin dance music afterall — it was pretty underwhelming. What I expected from the game is exactly what Taylor delivered. Listening to her play, I imagine a couple performing an intense and passionate ballroom dance. Check it out for yourself!
