A Link Between Worlds certainly won’t waste your time if you just want to hurry right on with the main quest. Kotaku‘s Jason Schreier timed a playthrough from the second he hit “New Game” until the point where he entered the game’s first “tutorial dungeon”. Including the opening cutscene, it took him just 5 minutes and 3 seconds. This makes sense when you consider that ALBW’s predecessor, A Link to the Past, also only took a matter of minutes to reach the castle basement. This is certainly a change from Skyward Sword‘s long introduction!
