While Ocarina of Time 3D was a fantastic remake of the Zelda classic that many of you have already had the joy of experiencing, I think I have a re-imagining of the game here so good that it’ll still blow your mind. What if Wind Waker HD‘s first-person mode was implemented into Ocarina? YouTube animator Filipe Costa has a series on Machinima called “First-Person Gaming!”, wherein he creates extremely high quality animations using a first-person perspective of popular video game protagonists in the worlds of popular games. His recent effort on Zelda is not only astounding from a technical and visual viewpoint, but also highly amusing.
Ganondorf is the least of Link’s concerns here, when a swarm of angry Cuccos display their vicious wrath upon our Hylian hero. Hey, it’s not like he doesn’t deserve it–vandalising signs, breaking a room full of pots and abusing the little creatures? That’s not cool. They probably could’ve left Navi out of it though.
