Wind Waker HD will be £50 on the European eShop this Friday

Wii U eShop

This Friday, 4th October not only marks the retail launch of The Wind Waker HD in North America and Europe, but also the digital debut of the game on the European Wii U eShop. Eurogamer reports that the price of the game on this service will be £49.99 / €59.99.

It’s a tad pricey, especially compared to Pikmin 3 and The Wonderful 101 which launched on the eShop at £10 less and were brand new games–not HD remasters. The retail version is cheaper, and some lucky fans even got the Ganondorf bundle for almost the same price. So, not the cheapest alternative, but a welcome addition to the eShop.
