Released earlier this year, in June 2011, Link’s Awakening DX has become 2011’s best-selling virtual console game in North America and Europe. It’s a pretty amazing feat, considering all of the competition the game had.
The game is also the second biggest seller ever in the eShop, behind 3D Classics: Excitebike.
